THE LAHAINA FISHING DERBY

So there was a little derby today between the boats. Thanks to Ray Henderson and his party… No Problem won this round.

So captain Rich and captain Steve took out No Problem while captain Jeremy and captain Hunter took out Kai Akua for a good old fashion fishing derby. Ray Henderson booked both boats and made their friendly wagers. Fortunately for No Problem and unfortunately for Kai Akua only one bouy was holding fish today and that’s the bouy that No Problem went to. With 8 Mahi Mahi on the boat it was a great day for NP. KA tried for a far out secret spot hoping it would pay off but didn’t work out. Only landing 1 mahi today. I feel a little bad for Ray because he was on KA and I wanted him to get into some fish but there’s always next time. Also, at least KA got 1, there was 9 other boats that didn’t catch any today. In fact I think only 2 other boats caught fish besides our two.
